Do-It-Yourself (DIY)

The fixed price DIY program involves standard 'Configuration Administration Training for key Administrators/PMO Staff with nominal post training support. This will arm the delegates with the knowledge and skills to setup and configure their own system as per their needs. This approach is akin to teaching delegates 'how to build' their house. They would then be in charge of their own destiny and responsible for building their own system as per their needs and training other users. This approach requires administrators to be dedicated to undertaking this activity in addition to their day job. 


The benefit of this approach is that it is a low cost option. However, the risk associated with this approach is that administrators may not have the time or ability to translate the standard learning into a solution that meets their needs and maps their business processes to the tool.

Quick Start Program

The fixed price Quick Start Program (QSP) is designed to help you get started as soon as possible with key basic configurations. This is an all-inclusive offer that covers consulting, configuration, and initial role-based training, designed to get you up and running within 30 days!! This program requires just 10 man-days consultancy. Akin to us building a house with a solid foundation based on your requirements and then teaching the delegates to be self-reliant i.e. 'how to maintain, modify, extend and decorate the house' as needed in future. 


The core configuration of Microsoft Project Online is covered within the Quick Start Program to get you started quickly and cost effectively, whilst being focused on the key business objectives. These core capabilities, needed by majority of the businesses, form approximately 75% of the overall capabilities of the Microsoft PPM Solution. It just excludes some of the features and advanced configurations that is normally not needed by most businesses. If these additional capabilities are needed, these can be covered with Quick Start Plus.

Quick Start Plus

The core configuration of Microsoft Project Online is covered within the Quick Start Program to get you started quickly and cost effectively, whilst being focused on the key business objectives. These core capabilities, needed by majority of the businesses, form approximately 75% of the overall capabilities of the Microsoft PPM Solution. It just excludes some of the features and advanced configurations that is normally not needed by most businesses. And where needed, this is normally dealt with in the subsequent phase(s) of the initiative, via additional services or PMO/Administrator Training which can be bolted on to the program as Quick Start Plus.

  • Do you provide Consultancy for Project Online as well as Project Server?

    Absolutely, we provide consultancy services for  Project Server On-Prem and Online.  The only difference being that for Online there is no pyhysical installation and setup. All other services e.g. Planning, Configuration,  End-User Training, Development including LOB Integration, Custom Reporting and functional Support remain the same. 

  • What versions of Project Server are supported?

    The currently supported versions of Project Server on-premis are: 2013, 2016 and 2019. If you are using Project Server 2010, it is recommended that you upgrade to a currently supported version as soon as possible. If you need assistance, please contact us.

  • Can you help migrate our on-prem Project Server data and configuration to Project Online?

    Absolutely, we can help migrate and upgrade your system, either on-prem or migrate to Project Online.  Click here for more information.

  • Can we use your migration tool to refresh our Training and development PWA instances?

    Sure, this is a normal request. You can request a prepectual license for the Project Online PWA instance that you want to refresh, with the Production instance data and configuration, on a regular basis. 

  • Can you extend the Quick Start Program?

    Absolutely, you can extend quick Start program to 'Quick Start Plus' to bolt-on other elements that the business may need, including; demand management workflow, Portfolio Management configuration and Analysis training, Custom Power BI reporting etc.

  • Can you provide Quick Start Program remotely?

    Absolutely, we can do this.  

    In addition to the T&E cost savings, you will benefit from;

    • Hands-on configuration combined with PMO/admin user training in a workshop environment, delivered by Microsoft Certified Consultant/Trainer with more than 15+ years in delivering Microsoft Project & Works Management Solutions in different types of organizations.

Split the days to accommodate your other Business activities (BAU);  for example a two day training course can be split in four half days  and scheduled when convenient to the delegates so that other important business activities get done at the same time. 

              

  • Can we purchase Microsoft 365, Office 365, SharePoint and Project Online Licenses from you?

    Yes, we are a Microsoft Certified Cloud Service Provider.  We can provide licensing for Microosft 365 and Office 365 products. 

  • Can you provide discounted licensing?

     Absolutely, we provide discounted licensing based on volume subscription.  There are no hidden fees or administrative fees. We would need to first understand your requirements including the number of users for each subscription.

  • Can you invoice us? My business does not make payments with Credit Cards.

    Absolutely. We can invoice you with a free 30 day credit terms. Pay with Purchase Order (PO). No Credit Card required. There is no extra charge for this service. 

  • We have an existing Software Licensing Supplier, how can we engage you?

    Changing Microsoft 365 or Office 365 licensing supplier is very easy and seemless. There is no loss of service.   • Do you provide services oustide of UK?

    Absolutely, some of customer deployments are indeed outside of the UK including EU, USA, Australia, Canada, South Africa etc. Only English language deployments are undertaken by Project Solution regardless of boundaries. 


    Although our Head Office remains in Cambridge, UK, our consultants work locally, within the country where the project is being undertaken. Depending on type of activity/workpackage, combination of on-site and off-site activities will be agreed with the user. 

  • Do you provide Technical Support?

    Absolutely, we provide technical support for SharePoint , Project Server and Project Online.  We have different options and levels ranging from adhoc to annual contracts.  Contact us to see how we can assist you. 

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

    Preferred methods of payment are Credit Card, PayPal and Bank/Wire Transfers to local banks in UK, Germany, USA, Australia.

  • Do you provide any product warantees?

    Absolutely! You can fully test the solution on your own environment, within your own business process, for 30days, prior to making any purchase.
